Global warming refers to the increase in global temperatures . Nearly 100 years, the average global temperature has experienced cold - warm - cold - warm twice fluctuations gotta look for the upward trend. After entering the eighties , global temperatures increased significantly. From 1981 to 1990 the average global temperature increase of more than 100 years ago, 0.48 â„Æ'. The main reason for global warming is human in nearly a century extensive use of fossil fuels such as coal , oil , etc. , a large amount of CO2 emissions and other greenhouse gases (NOAA Nat ional Climatic Data Center). Since these greenhouse gases on shortwave radiation from the sun with a high degree of permeability , while the long-wave radiation reflected from the Earth is highly absorbent , it is often said that the greenhouse effect , leading to global warming. Global warming consequences , causes of global redistribution of precipitation , melting glaciers and permafrost , rising sea levels , not only endanger the balance of natural ecosystems , but also threaten the human foodShow MoreRelatedThe Effects of Global Warming on the Earth990 Words   |  4 PagesGlobal Warming Earth’s temperature is a vital aspect to Earth and its surroundings. Human activities such as burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and emissions are held responsible for this situation developing. The climate change is the result, and a factor of global warming. There are several factors impacting global warming, and these include ozone layer depletion, carbon cycle, pollution, human actions, and orbit of the earth. There is a debateRead MoreEssay about Causes and Effects of Global Warming on Our World1498 Words   |  6 PagesGlobal Warming is a universal concern that has gained worldwide attention. As members of Congress, we have heard and learned new and different facts about the process of Earth. First, Earth tends to go through cycles of heating and cooling and this wouldn’t be the first time our planet has begun to heat up unexpectedly. Second, nobody can directly correlate hu mans with global warming, we may emit CO2 but that doesn’t mean we causedRead MoreThe Greenhouse Effect On Earth1212 Words   |  5 PagesWhen you hear about global warming many things come to mind. The greenhouse effect, pollution, carbon dioxide and of course, the earths temperatures rising. When people hear of the greenhouse effect do they actually know what it is. The suns UV rays hit the earth and 30% of the energy reflected back into space, 47% gets absorbed by gasses and turns into heat energy. The rest is shared between the water cycle, photosynthesis Some of the heat tries to escape back into the atmosphere but is trapped
